The Low Rise Forming Association is an Accredited Employers’ Organization and is the bargaining agent for all employers of workers engaged in concrete forming construction in the Greater Toronto Area. The Low Rise Forming Association relies on union labour for its construction contracts through LiUNA, Local 183.

The Low Rise Forming Association represents 63 low rise forming contractors (members and non-members) who employ approximately 1000 workers in the low rise forming industry. The Low Rise Forming Association has been operating in the residential building industry in the Greater Toronto Area since 1978 and is a proud contributor to the construction industry.

Residential concrete forming construction includes single and semi-detached houses, town houses and apartment buildings of bearing wall construction to and including ground floor and balconies. In addition, The Low Rise Forming Association contractors are active in the construction of industrial and commercial structures.
